I am from the central MI area right in the middle of the state. Just getting back in to coon hunting. Are there any suggestions from the Pro's. Will take any hints you can give me I have been away from the coon hounds for about 4 years whats new.

coonhunter chick i been hunting since i can remember with my dad and i am 25 now so i would say atleast 15-20 years
jsherwood
i am not saying i am a pro i would just say i am a coon hunter but what i would tell you is find someone to hunt with dont buy any dog that is supposed to be started or finished from anyone without seeing it go in the timber first and hunt the dogs that make you happy no matter what anyone else says about them cuz everybody has different things they like and disslike in dogs and if you like what ya got your the one that pays the feed bill nobody else

I hate the winter months cause of all the snow that we get but I still go. I hunt hard in the spring summer and fall. Do u have a lot of friends that you hunt with? I have a young dog that I have been pushing hard this winter. He has been doing nice. Good luck with finishing out your young dogs.

Jsherwood Sent you a pm back.. I do night hunts.
