I am looking to upgrade from the 22 wheel gun to a semi auto pistol, one of the local shops has these on sale at a good price. Just wondering how these preform under normal hunting conditions. In the likes of reliability accuracy and such I will probably be putting a red dot or other optics on it, if I buy one. It is between that and a Ruger MK3 hunter, if the smith is good I wouldnt mind saving the money but I would rather get a good pistol one time than buy one to find out it would be better to throw the gun at a coon. Or would I just be better off using my 22 rifle, I am a pretty good shot with both pistol and rifle, I just prefer to not hump a rifle through the woods at night.

I have a S&W 22A and a ruger MkIII. MKIII hands down in my opinion the 22A is junk(jams aaaalot!!!) The MKIII is a bull to take down and clean but well worth it for the reliability and accuracy gains over the 22A. Just my opinion that is based on my own experience.

Have you got a holster for it? I use an uncle miks for my Taurus HMR Revolver right now.I thought about putting a red dot on it but didn't know about it fitting in a holster.

I have not found one yet but I have been told a cordless drill holster fits them just right when you have a red dot.

Man every one has there own opinion on what the best breed of dog is, so don't go bashing somebody's elses dog just because you don't like anything besides walkers.... ALL breeds are capable of doing what they are trained for........

i have discovered one thing about training dogs... to begin with you have to be smarter than the dog...now if it turns out that the dog is smarter than you trade him in on one that is a little dumber ! ...... come on sunset !
