My handle for the last 20 years has always been Redbone3031 with the two duel 110 inch whips on the truck and a texas star 450 amp and a galaxy radio. At the house we have a PDL2 on a 75 ft tower with a rotator box connected to a heath kit 2 kw amp going into a a cobra 2000 with the freq counter.

CQ CQ CQ DX RADIO TEXAS 2 ALPHA TANGO 931

COONHOUNDS AND CB'S ARE LIKE BUTTER AND CORNBREAD

I used to have a 6 element JoGunn up on 50ft of tower with a Browning s-9/R2700 radio into a JB-12 into a 10 tube Phanton, also had a cobra 2000,Browning MarkIII,Mark 4a,Galaxy 2527,Saturn,Washington, and alot more cb junk that i forget now.Used to be fun back 7 or8 yrs ago when there was alot of people on there and alot of skip rolling.

We use VHF band marine radios for all sorts of hunting activities. A lot of times its to catch one another on their way home from work. Or when we see a coyote, fox or coon crossing the road.

yea 10-4 on havin a cb. Down here in Virgnina thats all we use is cb's. Shoot most of the girls i know have cbs in there trucks too. if yall are ever down in Central Va round buckingham area turn to channel 40 B ( only if yall have side band radios ) and youll hear a guy preachin.. actually its more that a white power ralley. But yea everyone down here uses cbs. Theres so many different kinds to get but i got a cobra 29 tweaked and peaked. Galaxy,Connex, Stonewall, and General Lee and Cobra are bout the only ones you need to spend money on the rest aint worth it. Well If you wanna talk bout cbs give me a holler 10-4 keep it between the ditches, and catch ya on the flip flop..

Me and my buddys still use a cb. it is more reliable than a cell phone. And where we hunt everybody uses one so when we lose a dog any body can turn to our chanel to contact us (ch on collar). its a good thing, i dont see how any body hunts with out one.
