No problem everyone goes threw it once or t wice with a pup. And when I said open field I was talking if you do use a cage coon to turn it loose in open field so it doesn't run up the first tree it comes to and it'll. Give the pup a chance to trail it. I didn't want you to think I meant hunt the fields. Just give it time

No problem. I got that. I coon hunted alot when I was younger but have been out of it for about 15 years or so. She will attack one shot out of a tree so she knows what to do sometimes.
