Well she is a year old now and I started the frustrating task of singleing her out . The first 2 nights she did nothing, 3rd night I watched her get up on a tree with a grinner in it so I was able to adjust her for that which I think was a good lesson, 4th night nothing, 5th night she made me happy I dropped her close to a heavy coon trail that crosses a good size creek and that little blue dog striked a track and i'll be damned if she didn't work that track across the creek up the bank and locate and with a little confidence booster from me tree her butt off with a double in the tree :D Anyhow just sharing those moments that make me want to keep training a pup!

I got a dog from Jim/Heidi Wale back in the 80's female out of there thunder dog she was the best thing in EAST TENNESSEE She passed at age 13 never had a hound or have I hunted with a hound like her since. Is a matterafact I tried to e-mail the wale family the other day to try and purchase a nother female, JIM WALE has had in my opinion the best blue blood that I have ever hunted with. JOHN SCARBROUGH[HENFUZZY] Lenoir city Tennessee.

How old is she? Where about in Mi are ya?
I let Treena run with my B&T all Hide season she caught on as good if not better than the B&T (thats expected though right blue guys  ) Now the plan is to singal her out till she does it all on her own.

she is four now and i just started hunting her last year. she has ran and treed her own coon. im trying to break her now of running possums. im over by kalamazoo. whereabouts r u? im having problems this year getting her on any coons seems like when i go out lately i cant even find fresh tracks. she has struck and treed on den trees and slick treed. ive been trying to trap a live one since i have never let one go in front of her but not having any luck with that either. i think its smart to run ur dog by herself sounds like ur on the right path to having a gd dog.

I'm over in the thumb by Sandusky..IMO its a tough time to start a green dog at the end of season there is a few to many factors working against ya. I'd wait till early spring or some cool fall nights. good luck to ya

The only thing that'd be in the back of my head running a green dog while the coons are hard to find is your dog may try running the easy to find tracks other than coon so keep an eye on that.
Your Pic never showed

I dont know why that pic wont come up. But anyway i did go out last nite and casted her out, 10 minutes later she had struck, two nice locates and was treed. I was giddy like a lil school girl lmao!!! After that we left and it was good to leave on a high note this time
