How can i break my dog from being so skiddish when trying to go loading... This is one thing that i cant stand from my dog she does good a few days but others you have to push her in to get her to go.
i have had this problem in the past with skidish dogs.make it fun for her. im not sure how you started her in loading, but i would go ahead and take your box out of the truck and have it set on the ground for now. then put her on a leash and bring her to the box and tell her load. once she is in (even if you had to to sorta push her in) praise the he!! out of her. make her think she is just hot sh!t for doign that. and i even have bite size hotdog peices that i give for an added positive enforsement. do this between 10 and 20 times (no more than 20. you dont want to make her bored) then put her up. repeat two times a day. after she gets good at that tell her to load and shut the door to the box for about 10 sec. then open it and praise her again.(do this 10-20 times for two sessions). after she is doing good at that then she is ready for the box to be put in the truck and repeat both steps. this should be a fun and exciting experience for her not the other way around.. alot of dogs are scared of vehicles make sure the vehicle is off when she is loading at first.. also if she acts skidish twards the vehicle it self. take her and tie to(with about a ten foot rope) the truck for a couple hours a day with the water and her fav treats(again hotdogs work great) just under the truck bumper.
try these and your dog should be fine in a week or two.
hope this answers your question

I tied my pup to the truck with the tail gate down and dog box open for a day. I put the food and water in the box. After the day of going in and out on her own she was used to the box.
