I never used it but I know 2 people who have used it. 1 had an AmStaff and 1 has a Rottweiler. Both dogs are/were well-muscled and healthy. I have no idea if it is a good food for hunting dogs since neither of those dogs was ever allowed to run and hunt.

At one time. About15- 20 years ago.I think most guys would tell you.Joy was the best dog food you could buy.But today its just not the same feed it once was.I dont even know anybody that even sells it anymore.Or feeds it.I sold it at one time.But stopped after they changed it..It happend after the original guy died that owned the company ...Its a shame it was REALLY good feed..but it also cost alot more than the others .At the time....

The original Mill in Oakdale,Pa. is about 75% torn down now.. I pass it almost daily. The formula was changed from the original...

I like Joy alot, but it was too expensive. Also like PMI a LOT, but that was not cheap enough either. Purina right now, but they've raised prices several times recently and are pricing themselves out of my kennel. Paul Conway.

ARound here lots of people feed PKC, I know a think I feed a more local brand, a guy gets a few tons at a time and i get four or five bags here and there, it's called Fischer Creek I believe?
Anything on PKC i fed it awhile back havent in a few years?

I would'nt feed Joy to my neighbors dog !!! Tried it once and both my dogs lost weight !! in the off season . I feed Black Gold or nothing!!!!!!!
