I had the RD300 and sold it because I bought the ICOM.......I do not like the system Collars it comes with. I used Rats colars when I had it.

I DIDN'T LIKE MINE FOR 1 MAIN REASON---- IT'S TO BIG AND BULKY TO CARRY WITH YOU WHEN YOU ARE GOING INTO THE WOODS. I SWITCHED TO A TRACKER CLASSIC AND I LOVE IT ITS WITH ME EVRYWHERE I GO AND HAS THE SAME RANGE AS THE RD400. BUT AS THEY SAY, THAT'S JUST MY 2 CENTS WORTH.

rd300 will track 16 dogs and you can use any collar as long as it matches the frequencies on the sticker that is on top of the rd 300

I will tell you one thing the system works pretty good but Innotek collars are terrible.

We have a RD-400 that someone brought into us for a trade in. It has not been used very much at looks like a brand new one. If interested give us a call at 1-800-922-9209 and we can talk about a price.

I have a RD-400 and a Tracker Maxima. I use Quick Track collars. The Tracker Macima is nice to have on your side in the woods, but when I really need to find my dogs, I go to the truck and get the RD-400. Much more range, more accurate and less interfernce than the Tracker.

I had a RD400 but sold it and got a tracker maxima complete 5000/100.The maxima carries better and i think it pin points a little better than the innotek. The lcd screen on the maxima is easier to use than the graph on the innotek which makes it easier to tell which direction the dog is in.Never tried the innotek collars but used tracker collars and it worked fine.
