Ole Bo

Written by Charles Wesley Foley

Me and my friends went to the woods one night,
Got the dogs and a case of bud light.
They were running for a minute or so,
When I heard a hound bawling and I knew it was Bo.
We all started running as fast as we could,
Knowing he treed like he should.
We looked in the tree and saw the coon,
Knowing he’d be coming out soon.
Got out the pistol and shot him out,
Ole Bo gathered round for another bout.
They both fought hard and in the end,
Bo got the best of him again and again.
