If shes a good reproducer find the best male you can find and breed her.As long as shes in good health she should be fine..The oldest Coonhound female I know of to have pups is 12 years old..I just lost a real nice female beagle that was 17 years old..She had her last litter when she was 14..She had 7 real nice pups ..The funny part she didnt show her age at all..She looked like a 5-6 year old dog.She didnt look her age at all..This REAL cold weather is what killed her.....Any dog that has a health problem. The cold weather gets them most of the time..She looked like there was nothing wrong with her at all..I had no idea how old she really was.. Until we looked at her papers today..I was shocked how old she was..But we did have a Beagle male live to be 23 years old when I was a kid..He ate candy just about every day.....LOL......

Do y'all think 10 years old is to old to breed a dog. Got a buddy that wants to breed dog. I think she's a lil to old.

What if an older female has never been bred before? Would you still try to breed her? She will be 10 years old this year.
