in 1965 john monroe won the acha world hunt with finley river spot. putting finley river dogs in the spot light of the walker breed forever. john monroe won the acha world hunt again in 2009 with buck creek ike,another finley river bred dog. john handled spot and ike both hisself.
my hats off to john. he may never read this ,but i would like to thank him for the bloodline of hounds i have enjoyed for so many years. congats and a big THANK YOU JOHN MONROE

good post cut-toe, you know , time tells ''ALL'' with any stock of hounds. FINLEY RIVER has really showed the ''TRAITS'' of producing ''COONDOGS''.

I hunt finley river bred dogs. Mine go back to Finley River Nite Hawk. I have had great success with them. Congs and thanks Mr Monroe for starting and keeping finley river bred dogs going. Keith Durkee
