I would like to plan a trip to West Virginia to bear hunt next December. I will probably be staying 7-10 days maybe a bit longer. Is there anyone willing to share some advice on good spots or anyone possibly want to hook up and go hunting while im there. I am looking for a place that camping is allowed and a place that has a decent number of bears. I have limited bear hunting experience with dogs. I am currently hunting a couple of walker pups with high hopes that they will be running bears by next dec. Thanks alot.

Hey Wvhoundsman I would definitly appreciate that. I don't currently have a dog that will tree a bear. The one we had has some medical issues siezures and such so I only have my young dogs now. I hope to have them running bears by this fall but with our limited bear population here that is no guarentee. If your ever out this way let me know I own a fishing guide service and If your intrested I'll take ya out on me if you dont mind showing me the ropes of bear hunting in your parts.
