i have a walker that i cant break on yotes. i would like to try to start running here on some. but there is no snow. should i use a shot gun or a rifle. and do yotes just blow out or do they circle thanks

most of us up here use combo guns....223 over 12ga or bisa versa....all yotes are different. some make a b line out of the country and some will circle. and u dont always need snow

You don't need snow but it is a ton better in the snow. We use highpowers here in southern Iowa. But there is rolling hills and a ton of space. If your more in a populated area I would go shotgun. Most coyotes circle but you will find a few that just blow through section after section. We find after running them all year more yotes seem to start blowing through sections and running down roads for miles. This happens to us 2 much toward the end of the year but not much at the beginning. If you do get a coyote blowing through sections and running on roads you better get him killed or pull you dogs off. He is doing this on purpose and is trying to get your dog ran over. It happens more than you would think

very true bonnett35...ive had the tricky sons of guns run rite into traffic to try and loose the hounds.
