who all has been bear huntin? training season opened in nc and i finally got to go sat. this is a pic of one of the bears we treed, had another cought on the ground and/or treed too, cause the dogs had the marks to prove it.



going to load up a bunch of young dogs in the morning and try it again.

Those are some really good lookin hounds ike, looks like you been pretty busy too. my buddy was the one who took the pics of our bear, my wife wont let me take our digital camera to the woods , i dont know if he took pics of dogs or just bear but the only ones he sent me were of the bear.
had a good run yesterday, saw the same bear 3 different times. the dogs done really good. had a bunch of young dogs that made the long trip. dogs treed, i got to tree the bear bailed, and would not tree again, literaly caught the dogs off the bear, 4 hrs. later. the bear was as tired as the dogs. didn't get a pic one.

Our count is almost 30 bear up so far this year. Still got a couple weeks to go. Not bad for weekend warriors hunting Walkers...

Been one of my most memerable years too. My one female has split treed a couple bear by herself. Caught a one eyed bear. Killed a nasty little bear that fought the dogs. Always good for conversation.
