The 2yr old female I was telling you about would make a good cat dog. She has treed a bobcat before.

Try this site. Good information on traing a dog on cats.

Other than that, put your dogs nose in some cat tracks and get after it. Walk the track with him/her on a lead. Eventually they get it figured out. Helps to have some stock out of cat dogs. I had a plott "coon" hound who never did worth a darn on coons, but loved treeing bobcats.
