In watching the news lately, there have been a lot of people taking their own lives. They felt that they had nothing to live for or that no one really cared for them. They were facing demons in their lives and felt like they could no longer cope with the problems. But the Bible lets us know that God is always there. He is just waiting for us to let Him fight our battles for us. God can restore anything that Satan has taken from us. If we have failed Him, He is faithful to forgive us and will help us.

Isaiah 59:1
Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:

David and his men came to a place in their lives where they had lost everything. Their city was burned, their families were taken captive. They wept until they could weep no more. David's men were drowning in grief to that point that they even spake about killing David because of what had happened.

I Samuel 30:3-6
So David and his men came to the city, and, behold, it was burned with fire; and their wives, and their sons, and their daughters, were taken captives.

Then David and the people that were with him lifted up their voice and wept, until they had no more power to weep.

And David's two wives were taken captives, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, and Abigail the wife of Nabal the Carmelite.

And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God.

David remembered all the times in the past when God had intervened on his behalf and he went to God to ask what to do. God told David that He would be with him in pursuing the enemy.

I Samuel 30:18-19
And David recovered all that the Amalekites had carried away: and David rescued his two wives.

And there was nothing lacking to them, neither small nor great, neither sons nor daughters, neither spoil, nor any thing that they had taken to them: David recovered all.

When we have wept until it seems we can weep no more, then we should pray and ask God for the answer. If we live for God, He will surely help us make it through and will help us to recover whatever we have lost. We can keep all that God has blessed us with.

Thank you for reading and have a blessed day,
Don
