This is just one of the poems I've written about our great sport and love for the dogs we hunt with, hope ya'll like it...

The Promise

The hunter and his hound
Go out after dark
To fulfill that promise
Each made at the start.

Through the years
As each grows with age
Oh the stories and tales
That can fill a page

Bring tears to your eyes
Or a laugh from the start
The memories made tonight
Will forever live in their heart.

For neither would prefer
It any other way
Than to hunt like this together
Til their dying day.

aint nothing gets to me any more than hunting. ill fght over my dog or cry when the misfortinite happens. and that poem was great reminded me how much i miss hunting

so i'm guessing you did good in english class in school. I was never good at the classes that didn't focus on numbers.
