I was getting ready for the pkc world hunt an It was a week away. Me an my dad loaded my Treeing walker up and we headed down the road. It was probably 9:00 and I turned him loose and he treed about 200 yards away and it was hallow and I was pretty disappointed so we went down the road about a mile and turned him loose again.when he opened up he sounded really weird an I told my dad it wasnt a coon. When he treed he was on top of the mountain. I got out of the truck an started toward him. The whole way up I had a bad feeling. When I finally saw the tree something jumped an took off. It sounded HUGE!! so I shined the big pine an sure enough a black bear cub was up in it.I started heading back to the truck to tell dad. All of a sudden my hound came running by me an jumped in the truck.we listened An we could hear the cub callin it's mom.we went back home an my dog hasn't treed a bear since then. LOL!!!!
