I just bought a 9 month old puppy last friday, he had never seen a coon or had even been turned out into the woods. We had hunted all week and couldn't buy a coon , so we changed it up a little and went hunting when we had been coming home. And it paid off, i shot the coon out and my pup hesitated just for a moment and then jumped in like he had done it for years. I took the coon and hung him in a tree and that pup made my week, after all the huntin we did it was worth. He couldn't shut even after we put him in the box he was still trying to tree it.

Thank you and i will certainly keep it up, my wife's youngest brother has been hunting all season with me and now i think that he's hooked. After that puppy did what he did, i think it made him just as proud as it did me.

yea i took my wifes brother out too hes 10 and this kid has been drug tho picker bushes and had a coon dropped strait on his head and still wants to go out every night lol

I have to laugh cause I had that happen to me 20 years ago,keep hunting the coon hound,gonna make you prouder than ever.
