I had gotten out of coon hunting about 15 years ago. I am slowly starting to ge back into however my eleven year old son wanted to go so a friend of mine took us. The first night turned up nothing. The second night we went the dog treed in a den tree and could not ever locate the coon. The next drop there ended up to be two coons in the tree.We gave the .22 to my son first to let him take a shot at it. He hit the tree branch with that one the other young boy with us took shot two and hit it in the rear. Now after a few more shots it was loosing it grip and a buddy unting with us said watch out I see some blood dripping. Now I was standing back shinig the light and as I looked it seemed real light color to be blood. About that time my son starts screaming it is not blood it is pee. Well needless to say he is even more hooked now then he was before. We just got a dog and are looking forward to many more tales to be able to post.

So very true. We have to do what we can to keep kids off the TV and games and get them back in the woods.
