I been wanting to upgrade cameras sometime but haven't found one with some of the features you find in the higher dollar camera. My wife has a Rebel but they are not really that portable and compact.

I been doing some research on the Kodak Z915 and just about everywhere I went, the reviews were 4.5 out of 5.0 on this camera.

Well I broke down and went and cashed in the Christmas and B-Day Visa cards and stopped by Best Buy today and bought one. (They are on sale right now for $179)

Here is some product specs on it:

Here is a couple pics I took in the backyard this afternoon playing with it.

Here is a review from a photographer's perspective and opinion of the Kodak Z915.

Off the subject, but I sure like the houndy looks of your dog , especially those two coon chew toys hanging on each side of its head

That's ole "fatboy" -- he's my biggest Basset......Yea, coon would love those ears......When he was pup, he'd trip over them running.

Bassethound or Coonhound , if everyone had the looks of OLE FATBOY ,the shows would be over , all would be on the top. Just my opinion on what hounds should look like .

For those that may be considering this camera, Best Buy has them on sale this week for $129.99 - Regularly $199.99.

Just returned from Best Buy from getting money back on price match of their own advertised price.........Got lucky as today was the last day for me under their return policy on cameras since I bought the camera on 18 Jan.

well buckshot glad to hear i caught up with the times a couple months to soon. LOL. i paid a little under $200 awhile back but the camera works great. i dont take it out as much as my older ones but cant belive how it zooms in on a critter in the tree, and the video is decent as well. nice camera for the money and tough enough so far.

heres a couple pics. dogs treed, then the coon is at least forty feet up zoomed in part way.
