Tie her up if she trees reward her, if not bag coon and drop her again without getting coon. Make her think about what she is doin g if she trees she gets a coon. if she doesnt tree when coon is in it then no matter what she dont get it. makes her have drive to get her own.

you are not alone. i'm having the same problem with my two year old bluetick. she will strike a hot track and put it up a tree quick, bawl locate and then hush. most of the time i can get to her and talk her back to the tree. 90 % of the time the coon is there. i just hope she will start going a little deeper, hunts too close about 50-75 yards. what can i do?

the other night i went and the other dogs had a coon up a little tree and the coon was about 12 feet up and i know she could see it but wouldn't bark. so if i tree 10 coons and she dont lay a bark on them at the tree she dont get any of those ten. ?? am i thinking right.

Lol walkerman im in the same boat as you with a b&t. If I comp hunt him I have to wear him out the night before and he will USUALLY do okay. After months of frustration I put him on bobcats and he refuses to tree anything else now. I dont know why but I know he lives to track 2 miles before he will sit down and tree. Good luck to you and your hound.
