Hey guys im new pretty new at this and am looking to get a scope for my 22 to coon hunt with. My question is have you guys seen much of a difference in the cheap vs expensive scopes? I had one on my gun but broke it, i know a cheap one would shoot ok no farther than the majority of the shots are but didnt know if it would pick up enough light to see clearly in the middle of the night ? Any help would be apprectiated. Sorry if this is a repeat post but i couldnt find any other threads that compare different scopes all i seen was the debate between scope or open sights.

I only have 1 "Expensive" scope and its an old one. I like Swift and Bushnell scopes. Bushnell in my opion has good optics for the buck. Swift might be better for the low end price, but about the the same for the high end. I can't "see" the difference between the two.
I hope this helps Im not one to spend high dollars for glass I just can't Realy "see" any major difference for the money. I can say GOOD glass is a must for long range but not expensive glass. I think Swift fills that spot.
I would spend more money on good Binoculars for glassing a field all day so I dont get sick. I have gotten ill glassing a bean field for g-hogs all day with cheap bino's.
