I am currently building a new kennel and I need to find a good wood to use for the flooring. It is built off of the back of our garage and sits about 2 feet off of the ground. Kind of like a deck. I need something to use for the floor, i was going to use treated decking BUT someone told me not good for dogs if the were to chew on it. Anybody know anything good to use that would hold up decently outside?

alright thanks for the infro. I got to thinking about it and my other kennels have treated 4x4's in them and they never hurt them. When I went to buy the lumber though it was a bummer. I had to get 64 pieces and at 10.90 a piece that is depressing. But now I am ready to go, and when it comes to feeding time its always nice to have nice kennels and they should be easy to clean.
