Our drougt has come to an end (for the time being) here in SC and the rain is coming down hard! My backyard is super muddy and the dogs are getting nasty everytime they go out back.. Any ideas how to control the mud? I thought about straw or something, but not too sure. Thanks...

I set my chain link kennels on 2x8x16 concrete cap blocks. A little sand to level the blocks and then dry set them. They can be removes by popping them up with a shovel if they need to be moved. Easy cleaning and washing, no mud, no digging, no crap flicked in your face or on your cloths. Blocks cost about .80 cents each. If you want to use chains, just set blocks around the stake and work out ar far as needed.
