I heard some people talkin about using bleach to sanitize their kennels. I've always heard that is bad. Dogs have ammonia in their urine and if you use bleach it will cause a chemical reaction to the ammonia in their urine, and the gases can be harmful if not fatal (in an enclosed area) to the dog. Like I said I've heard this but don't know the true answer. Any one know? How many use bleach? Many use ammonia?

I use quatricide - it is a deoderizer, and disinfectant and work really well. I just pressure wash the concrete then scrub it down with the stuff. and its not harmfull to the dogs.

I use bleach 50/50 with water. I never leave a dog in the spac while cleaning.I try to make sure I have extra spots for the dog to go while claning...up untill the spot is completely dry.I can say though a few times I had to run out of the indoor kennel due to the reaction LOL!!

Just don't clean with your og in the space...put it back when completely dry and it will do.
