A lot of times coons stand on the outside and reach through or I've even had them dig under and roll my traps till they get the bait. What I did was took rocks and put on top of my traps and around the bottom and put my Nilla wafers down the center of the trap where they had to go in to eat. They love Nilla wafers.

I made on for free from some dog fencing and electric fence wire for horses .... Caught 3 on time on the same set!! Best of all it was free just put a lil time and effort into it! I also have one from tsc ..... There junk!!
