i was wondering what was beter for foot traps bait or lures? an witch is beter for cage traps lures or baits? it seems like every where i look every one is talkin bout lures i usually just use bait aint had much luck lately with coons an fox season around the corner an im usually way up on coons an suggestions?

I mostly trap coon in cage traps and bait is the way to go. I usally just use sardines there cheap and work great around here. But i think lures work better for foot traps

Usually if a coon is within smelling distance of any kind of bait or lure you can catch them on anything. I've got them on everything from bread to any type of meat.

whats the pest way to keep skunks out of a cage trap tho any certain type of bait
