Found this lil guy on the road in the bottom this morning and I needed the skinning practice so I got him. There was NO damage anywhere and it turned out to be a pretty good hide and I FINALLY got the eyes right on this one....lol.

lol. I never pass up a road killed coon,thats in good shape! I even keep the ones that the stomach is turnin green on, just cut the belly fur out, they don't use it anyway! They'll never know! :D

i just need help learnin how to skin the coon over their head without ripin it or cutin holes in it. any advise ?

just don't cut so close to the seam between hide and skull... best not to use a real sharp knife neither... eyes can be a lil tricky but nothing practice won't fix
