anyway how can i tell if this axle is a full floater????

Do a burn out on dirt, grass, etc.-tach it up to about 4 grand. If only 1 wheel ever spins, it's a floater. If the other wheel kicks in at a certain(wheel) RPM, it's got some sort of limited slip or clutch pack set up.If both tires spin the whole time,it's got a locker or has been welded up.

well i don't think that'll happen because it isn't in the truck any more. Its sitting in the back of my barn. I thought full floater meant there was an extra set of bearings on the axle somewhere to support extra weight. hence it being the heavier axle.
