Last Saterday I packed up and went hunting. My dad wasnt home so I couldnt take his truck. I packed all of my stuff (Treestand, 50lb bag of bait, bow case, and my tub of clothes) into my car. I have a 1991 Chrysler LEBaron 2 door convertible. You cant get in the drivers door because it wont shut from the inside so I had to crawl over the passenger seat. Let me tell you any deer that saw me get out of my car when I finally got where I was going had to be laughing there heads off seeing me come crawling out of my car trying to squeeze past my treestand that was in the passenger seat. It was probobly a good thing I didnt get a deer cuz the only place left to put it would have beein in the drivers seat with me I would have just had to sit on its lap I guess. Has any one else had to jam and cram into there hunting vehicle?

I drove a 96 Mercury Couger for about a year.I took the front seat out and that was one of the best things I could have ever done!
Next time, take your seat out. It's very easy.4 bolts and if you have power 1 plug.Thats it.

My uncle used to let his bluetick ride on the back seat of his car, but I don't remember what kind of car it was. He would cross the creek in our pasture w/ it, but he couldn't make it up the other side so he'd just leave it on the bank till he came back. When he got ready to go, he'd throw it in reverse and floor it to make it across and back up the other side, all w/ the bluetick chillin on the back seat.

me and my friend paul use his saturn car (gets 36 regular) and cut a few pieces of plywood and put dome doors on to slide in the trunk....leave the trunk open and have a bungee cord holding it down...its real bad though cuz now we only get 32 miles a gallon hunting...wut a bummer right!

Years back a freind and I bought a little chevy station wagon with a 4 cyl. It worked good for up here cause we didnt have to do a lot of off roading to get to good spots to drop the dogs but man did that car stink hauling dogs and all them coon all the time. Good times Now I use a pickup, still let the dog ride inside when its cold

I run a 93 jeep grand cherokee. Fixed it up so the dogs ride in the hatchback part. I took out one of the side back windows and replaced it with a door with a hole. When its cold I plug up the hole when its nice I leave it open. It works great for me.

I see the thread has been dead a while. So I'll fire it back-up. I have a 1988 Cherokee ebay beater I use. Can go just about anywhere sensible. Scott

got a buddy at our club that hunts (deer - we use dogs) out of his mini-van. doesn't even get out, just opens the slide doors and sits in the seat...yes really!
Happy Hunting!

Haha I've hunted out of a chevy blazer. haha that was a trip because we would load the dogs in the back and four of us would sit in the front two seats and the back bench seat but by the time we got to the woods all three dogs would be up there with us puking and crapping all over. What a mess haha man that is a memory that will stick with me for ever lol
