I live in Brookhaven, Lincoln Co. I am new to coon hunting. We went on our first hunt Friday night. We are hooked. Need to find a dog and get after it. I am disabld but can walk a little. Hope to find someone around here to go with. When we went the other night, it flipped a switch with me. I am wantjnf to fo alot now. hello everyone, hope hunting for yall has been good. I live in Ellisville Mississippi and I hunt blue dogs. yes I do, but if they will tree a coon I don't care if its a collie dog lol. Hey ive kinda ran into a problem. I work 28 and 14 now, and my hunting partner is also working a whole lot. I have a young started gyp, she is super stakes and performance paid up, and hunts this april in SS. She is started, she goes hunting hard, but isn't quite broke off trash yet, I haven't neccesarily seen her on trash but there has been some times where she quit whatever it was she was on, but it definatly wasn't a coon. ive gotton her out of a couple holes to. Ive decided with my work schedule I either need to sell her to someone that can push her, or find someone close by that is wanting to hunt a young gyp, and push one hard that may not have the money to purchase one, or just is willing to help a fellow hunter out. that would take her as long as they keep her fed and hunt her a good bit. id be willing to pay for all dog feed, and maybe can afford a 100 a month for the help. but I need the person to live pretty close to me, as I still want to hunt with her when im home. maybe this is a long shot, but just wondering. and also if we can get her straight, and you want to put her in hunts ill split the entry fees and if she wins you can keep the earnings. but I will only go this route with a totally honest upstanding person, and we will have to sit down and come up with a agreement that satisfies us both. If not ill take 600 for her. thanks
