How old was he when you got him? I knew a few guys that ran red dogs that way, I might be able to help.

He was about eight weeks old. My parents picked him up in july of o5 @ a baseball game. So I never met the owners, but I know they had a whole litter of pups to choose from. thanks

The guy I knew sold one about a year old around then he thought but no litters. I talked to him and he said he couldn't think of who had any litters back then. Sorry I can't help.

Good to see some Neosho River blood up this way. My 2 year old Walker goes back to Neosho River Crimestopper and Neosho River Rudy, Neosho River on top and bottom. Anybody around Fremont, Nebraska? I have been here for about 6 months and have not found anybody close. I got a lot of ground up by Nickerson and down by Lincoln. I try to get out at least once a weekend. I'm new to the forum but live in north central NE(near Valentine). I've been chasing coyotes with greyhounds for a few years now but judging from the number of dead coons along the roads along with the fact that daytime hunting sometimes interferes with work, I figured I'd get into coon hunting(gone with friends several times). I don't have a dog yet, but any leads that don't involve traveling 3 or more states away to get a good finished hound would be appreciated!(that doesn't make this a wanted ad does it??? haha) Anyway, hopefully I won't be without a dog for long and can come hunt with some of you all sometime!

Ron if you are ever in the South West part of the state, give me a call and I will take you hunting. I live outside of Imperial. There are a few of us in the great state of Nebraska that hunt quite a bit and always welcome a newcomer.

Brandon Zadina 308-882-1883 Do you hunt Bobcat's or just coon? I am from Sidney. I would join you for a hunt this winter if it all worked out. Thanks, Travis.

Ron from Nebraska,
Not sure if you are still looking for a finished coon hound still but I am about to post mine for sell. I am in Fremont, NE, and would be happy to take you hunting sometime to show you what he can do. He has been hunted a lot and it shows. He is a 2 year old 60 lb Neosho River bread male. Give me a call if you are interested. I am asking $2000.
Thanks, Clint (319)899-6602

Hey yall, i live north of omaha, havent had a hound in around 3 years. Had a walker but due to going off to college i gave her away to a hunter in iowa. last i heard she was doing great. Getting the itch to buy another hound but need to find me a place to live at first. Anyway anyone around here that wants to go scout hunting spots near me i have real good relations with a good majority of the farmers and typically start my hunting permission search pretty early. Drop me a pm, or email me, or ya could text me. I like running hounds and am typically one of not the only person allowed on alot of these grounds. Some havent been hunted since i had my hound. I work nights so when i hunt ill go till 6 or 7 in the morning during the winter. have a real nice houndsman deluxe dog box too. I miss this lifestyle.
