Would like to know some of the hunting traits of this line? I own a male who is a grandson of Droop. Tonight he trailed and caught a boar coon in a corn field (Second time he has done this). When the other dogs had enough and ran off he stayed till the coon was dead. Lots of grit on him. Cold nosed and finishes his tracks.
I know that just one recognized dog in a pedigree won't always do it so I will post what I know of his pedigree and anyone who knows more hopefully can help me fill in. All info would be appreciated both good and bad. So far I like this dog, but he is a handful.

Tell me more about this dog. I'm a major fan of the Droop line.

Never want another in my Kennel. I've had two females, Droop daughters. The first had Parvo when she got here. I spent lots to get her over that just to find out she was a alligator (fight other dogs). Took her back to them at the Winter Classic. I told the young boy that took the dog not to put her with an other dog.

He said, "I'll put her in with her daddy, he won't take any thing off her."(bells went off) about 10 seconds later ole Droop was begging to get out of that box.

Blamed it on brain damage from the parvo.

They shipped me another pup when I got her home from the airport, i put her in a kennel with a litter of eight pups about a week older than her. Twenty four hours later I had to take her out all the other pups were bloody and wouldn't go close to the feeder and water. She only got worse. She made a good deer dog for a friend, but could never be hauled with other dogs. No papers went with her.

I hope yours has better experance than mine.
