ive heard once before that some of his pups are slow starters, but take that with a grain of salt. mojo is double sackett bred i believe. but by 2yr old, that dog should be started and doing something

Yea I think he should be doing something by now too but he isn't doing much. He hasn't been messed with a lot though. I put a coon in front of him and he didn't even know what to do with it.

he wins hunts so he must slick tree, me too, hunt a strait line and be mean at the tree. :P

i was told that one of the greatest dogs out there (hickory nut harry)
was one of the biggest slick dogs to ever walk the woods, but look at all of his puppies that made it. i myself don`t believe that mojo is a slick dog. but just like harry his pups are really doing it.

My male has a good mouth on him. Today I put a coon in front of him and he bellied up on the tree and treed with slobber flying every breath! He should make a dog but its going to take a lot of work!!

I drew a female off Mojo a couple weeks ago. The dog was incredibly quick and a very very hard tree dog. It never shut its mouth after it left the box, had first tree on 5 circles, and absolutely ripped a dog off of a tree.

Bluwalker is that comment suppose to be said as good or a bad dog?

I personally would stray away from mojo with your comment.
1. Dog barks should be on coon track.
2. Dog is first tree but on circles prob trees without coon.

It doesn't matter how fast of a track dog they are if they pull up short.
Mojo pups might tree 5 circles but I will beat them everytime with 3 trees and 3 coons.
You couldn't pay me to breed to mojo. That's my opinion. On pkc site there's. His stud ad showing all titled dogs and pkc winners. 43 ntch or grntch. Out of 1200 some pups. That's not that impressive in my books. You can find them studs with 100 pups or so with 10or pups titled.
Mojo pups are competition style dogs. But I pleasure hunt 200some ntes a year and comp prob 40 so id rather see coons and take less strike pts.

Butler, it wasn't meant to be negative or positive, its just what happened. If you're asking what I thought of the dog, i'd say it beat the coon to the those trees (one would think at least 1 of those coon would have gotten found), i hate babblers, and fighters.

oh and smokehunt, I wasn't being sarcastic that all happened. there's gotta be some good uns out of mojo but this dog just aint my style.

yea there not my style of hound. if i went out in seen only 3/5 i wouldnt be a happy camper. I think we have bred some nose and alot of tree in our dogs today but most say they got drive they may run a mile but when they hit track they give up in tree. drive to me is working that track till ou got the coon. The drive to impress there handler

I agree with all that ya said. The blood running through some of these dogs is rather potent, sometimes good, sometimes bad. Bout all a person can do is pick the bloodlines you like and hunt that.

Gues I will find out for my self, We breed a female to him and she is due on july 25. The female is a very nice female out of honest coondogs and honest titles so will see what happens all of us have different ways of training and that has alot to do with it. chase barking and babbling. but next year I will either be in awww or shame on this\. Bluwalker maybe I will draw you sometime... where abouts you from in wi
