SOMETHING IS COMING OUT THAT'S NOT WALKER THEIR TAILS LOOK LIKE CORK SCREWS OVER THEIR BACKS NOT VERY GOOD CONFIRMATION . YES A CURLY TAIL IS NOT A GOOD THING LOOK UP THE BREED STANDARDS ON UKC, AKC, OR PKC . THAT'S WHY YOU SEE ALOT OF DOGS WITH THEIR TAILS DOCKED AND PEOPLE TELL YOU THEY HAD TO TO IT CAUSE IT WAS BLEEDING AND WOULDN'T STOP OR THEY BROKE IT! LOOK AT THE OLD TIME WALKERS AND FOX HOUNDS THEY CAME FROM NO CURLY TAILS TAIL

Strong at root, moderately long and tapering, without flag. Set rather high and carried free, well up and saber like with a graceful forward curve.

from ukc breed standards
as for pups out of him are doing well but i'll stick to my good old pleasure hounds that we've had for years and generation after generation good coon dogs

Well I have 2 pups off of mr clean. Trooper my male has a loud mouth and I never really trained him a hole Lot just given him woods time at my buddy's place and he has started hunting hard Treeing and I haven't seen Him tree much with other dogs looks like he will have an independent side like I like. He is open spotted and is a fine looking hound to me. His sister which has been to the woods 5 times now has not treed yet but when I cut her she is hunting as hard as any dog I've ever hunted with just waiting on her to figure it out on her own. And she 2 is a fine looking hound. They both hate a Fresh coon hide and she also has a nice mouth for a female in my opinion. I think it's more about the cross of what the pups come out like and I also believe that a ugly hound can tree just as many coons as a pretty hound. Happy new years!! And GOD bless

He was a little slow at gettin it all put together but with experience its not how they start its all on how they finish!! Everyone I had start early never finished out to be worth a nickel. A friend of mine has three pups out of him 9 months old he said that his will drop off a coon track to run a deer ever time they come across one. and his is not doing much on the tree when they do run a coon with his old dog. there young hes going to have to work on them about the deer running he says they will just nearly leave the country on one.

I have a 3 year old female and a 17 month old female. Both out of mr clean. They both are independent and hammer down tree dogs. The 3 year old has a huge mouth probably 100 barks a minute while the other is around 130 a minute belly up tree dog. Her mouth os not as good but still easily heard. Two fantatstic coonhounds and I would take a clean pup any day.
