You're exactly right, too many breeders put up with too many hunting faults like pulling up short and slick treeing. These dogs that do this constantly should be culled but they're kept and bred to pass on those "amazing" bloodlines. As far as the looks go, I don't know a thing about the leopards but with all the similarities in the bluetick, English and walker breeds, its so easy to take a pup from one breed and register it to another. In the end, and its sad to say, for most people this is just a business and its all about the money, they don't care about improving a breed and the sport as a whole. As long as they're making a buck off these high dollar bloodlines, they're happy, they don't care who they turn away from the sport in the meantime.
