There is a milky looking saliva in my dogs mouth. It actually looks like white paint. It's back by her back teeth. I was playing with her and got some on my shirt and I did think it was paint.
What could it be? Could it be just her saliva? But it's thick like paint.

Hard to say just off of that. Their drool can get pretty thick. What did it look like when it dried out? Is she acting funny? Any sores in her mouth?

What's dried on my shirt is white and crusty. She has only been eating 1-2 cups of food a day. She sleeps a lot. But she is is only 4 1/2 months. She does have a new tooth coming in. Didn't see any sores. I didn't notice it today. It just looked like she had white paint in the back of her mouth.

That sounds like oral thrush.....basically yeast infection of the mouth.

But your first post said the saliva looked milky. Is it the saliva or actually on the walls of the mouth? If on walls of the mouth, then sounds like oral thrush.

Agree Try some baking soda in the water to restore the Ph balance. I would change the food too.

The next it was gone. Maybe it was something she ate.
