My dad was at his hunting camp during spring turkey season in Tx. he was sitting on the back porch with his truck about thirty feet from him. Out of no where this big tom jumps right up on the bed and looks at him! Well he had a big problem as his rifle was in the truck.( you can hunt turkeys with a rifle in west Tx.) As soon as the bird jumped off the truck, dad ran and got the gun and leaned across the bed to take aim. well when he shot , he couldn't believe his eyes! the turkey was still running down the road! Well on closer inspection, he didn't come away empty handed. he accidently shot the truck!! Nice neat hole in the back of the cab. Oh well that tom got a parden untill next year. I would not have believed him except for the hole. well what can you say. hunter's luck.
