Ive been using the search feature on here with no sucess,So here is my question, I have 3 young adult females,They are kept in the yard unchained,They are fed seprate, and each has a doghouse,They get chained while on a camping trip is all,Have had no fighting unless they got into a tussle while I was working that I am unaware of,Anyway Im considering getting a pup a young one say ,8/12 wks old, How would a guy go about keeping them together without creating a problem? running free the pup would likely become a chew toy, kenneled up the pup becomes an outsider or so it seems to me, So whats the key to sucess?? thanks

I have introduced basset pups to full grown coonhounds in the backyard. I just watched how rough they played with the pup.........if they were a little too rough in their play, I'd hit'em with the shock collar and they get the hint.
Sometimes they don't realize how hard they play.
Always done pups with the big dogs this way and never had any issues.
Usually by the end of the week, it's the pup that is one that is playing rough.
