Im an english man now but after reading and seeing stuff bout this dog it makes me want to go back. i guess it is the size of the heart in the dog. Not to mention I dont got a $400 stud fee for this bad guy.

Russ many of the pups that have won in PKC.Cant tree there own coon..You dont have to have + points to win your cast in PKC....I had a guy trying to sell me a dog that had $100. already won..He said he treed his own coon twice so far..He wanted $1500 for the dog..The dog was like 9-10 months old.....

chet explain this too me. How do you win and ot be able to tree?

Ive been to hunts where O points has won the hunt..The dog never opened at all...You dont have to tree a coon in PKC to win your cast............Why limit your self too one breed??? I own Black-n-Tans,Walkers and English dogs.....

Personally i have seen alot better dogs at PKC hunts. Here, PKC dogs are hunted more often , and harder than UKC dogs. Every once in awhile there is a cast won on 0/least minus, but if you plan on winning, you better be packin a coondog, or you will just be donating your $25.

I used to think you had to pack a decent dog to win in a Pkc hunt until about 2 months ago. One of the older fellows I hunt with bought a dog that had won alittle over $1300 and is under 2 yr. old. He has hunted him for the last couple months and we have yet to see him tree a coon. He will open as soon as he is out of sight and SOMETIMES he will mee too with the older dogs and half way tree but most of the time he is just around the tree howling every once in a while. By himself he will leave at a run open as soon as he is out of sight and then bawl around for an hour and come back. I don't know how the dog won a pack of bubblegum little own $1300. If you can tell me how he won it everyone around here would like to know.

i sold a female a few months back that was a NITECH. a fella called me about her and wanted to no if she could win in the PKC? i told him she can tree live coon? he said all he wanted her to be is a solid-blow down tree dog. he didnt care if she treed coon,he just wanted her to hook the tree and stay and be fast at it. needless to say, i sold her to a fella that wanted a COONDOG!!!

These so called experts can run PKC down all they want but the ones that are winning the big money and winning night after night week after week are packing get in the dark get a real live coon treed by there self and will go as far as they have to go. The days of backpackers winning concistently are over.

If a dog is beating you without treeing a coon you might want to look at what you are packing. once in a while a dog like that wins but the dogs you see are winning big 99 percent of them can tree a coon on there own.

i think its funny pkc this and that but what gets me is use so caLLLED JUST UKC PPL CANT EVEN POST ON THERE SITE. talk aboutr takeing ppl for money. i have been in a ukc hunt with a few pkc dogs and i will say this im yet to have one make me go damn hes good. THEY ARE BREED TO TREE AND LET ME SAY JUST TREE. SLICK TREEING KINGS

Ok i'm a supporter of pkc i hunt in it mostly and i have yet to draw a dog that everyone claims to be associated with pkc because if i did they would be in a world of hurt. yes if you want to win big in the hunts you need a dog that will automatic and cover a dog and yet get split and hold pressure. Myself i have more pride in my dogs i hunt a wide hunting be alone and GUARENTEE when he looks up has a coon and he wont pull for nothing but i'm sure there are dogs out there that win by not treeing coon but if they win you are not hunting a very good dog if you get beat by circle or minus in order to beat them dogs you need a dog to be deep and lonely like it's been said get deep and lonely two looking down will beat the wood mosters every time. But i have hunted both ukc and pkc and with the exception in the ukc world i have not seen the same caliber of dog in ukc as i have in pkc. plus in my experiences i have been in countless arguements and damb near fights in ukc that just doesent seem to occure nearly as much in pkc.

i agree with possum around here i know a lot of people that only hunt in ukc b/c they say them pkc hunts r a lill to i guess u could say hardcore
for them

but id rather hunt pkc than ukc
to much cheatin in ukc from what i have seen
not knockin any one or there dogs jmo

I wasn't knocking Pkc in my post. I was just saying you don't always have to be packing a coon dog to win. I can also show you a Nitech with 2 wins toward Grand about 5 miles from me that won't leave the truck without another dog. I know this for a fact. I hunted with the dog since he was about 6 months old and I have never seen him tree a coon alone.

I dont comp hunt so My opinion on this matter is based as an outsider. To Me winning a UKC hunt is about pride. Winning a PKC hunt is about money. I dont agree with winning with a circle tree or a minus tree. There is the same amount of dishonesty in both registries. Even though most would think money would cause more incentive to cheat; for some people pride is a worse enemy. I dont care which registery a person hunts as long as they are being honest about it. JMO
